As a Software Engineer – Commercial Vehicles, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software components for commercial vehicle applications.
  
• Implement, test, and validate control systems, communication protocols, and overall system functionality.
  
• Collaborate with system architects, hardware engineers, and testers to ensure seamless integration.
  
• Ensure software meets the highest standards for reliability, performance, and safety in commercial vehicles.
  
• Integrate software into larger system architectures, including powertrain, vehicle control, and chassis systems.
  
• Conduct system-level integration and verification, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and simulation-based testing.
  
• Troubleshoot and optimize software to ensure stability and performance under real-world conditions.
  
• Actively contribute to agile development processes and continuous improvement within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
  

Key skills and qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in professional software development.
• Proven expertise in embedded systems development (real-time, resource-constrained environments).
• Mandatory experience in commercial vehicle systems, including integration with powertrain, chassis, or vehicle control systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR, ROS, or similar middleware frameworks.
• Experience with system integration and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet).
• Knowledge of safety-critical software standards, such as ISO 26262, is a plus.
• Hands-on experience working in an agile development environment, ideally using SAFe.
